The DPX is a 3600 DPI internal drum Computer-To-Plate device. CTP technology guarantees top quality by making a clean, first generation dot directly on the plate. All the quality reducing intermediate steps of classical platemaking are eliminated. The platesetter is driven by a Level III Harlequin RIP. The plates are fed into the drum, secured by vacuum, register punched, exposed, then fed into an integrated processing and drying unit. The entire process takes less than 5 minutes and delivers the highest quality plate available on the market today.
